The Main Stage, nestled within the Lobster Village at The Tramyard, will showcase a stellar lineup of chefs, both local and national talent, as well as faces from the media and sporting worlds. Acclaimed chefs Derry Clarke, JP McMahon, and Arun Kapil, along with RTE presenter Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh, Newstalk broadcasters Ciara Kelly and Bobby Kerr, TV and radio presenter Lorraine Keane, editor of Evoke Sybil Mulcahy, FM104’s Sean Munsanje, and rugby internationals Shane Byrne and Fergus McFadden, will all share their seafood expertise and favourite recipes.  Local lculinary talents, including Leigh Doyle from Mapas at Fitzpatrick’s Killiney Castle, Chris Collins from The Dalkey Duck, and Raouf Djeffal of Ouzzos, are all on hand to demo and entertain.

This year’s festival proudly supports ALONE, the national charity that enables older people to age at home with dignity. Their befriending services, advocacy, and support play an essential role in improving the lives of older individuals. During the event, look out for their dedicated volunteers conducting bucket collections and accepting donations, as every contribution makes a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.

Several sustainable initiatives will take place in The Townhall at The Heritage Centre over the two days, highlighting our commitment to preserving the beauty of our environment.

For families, there is a dedicated Kidzone on Saturday, August 26th, and Sunday, August 27th, in the Church Grounds. The Kidzone features the incredible magician Joe from RTE Junior, who will bring laughter and amazement to both young and old alike. Face-painting will add a touch of magic, transforming your little ones into adorable lobsters, pirates, and mermaids, creating a world of fantasy for them to explore.

In addition to Guinness and Tanqueray, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, EBS, Core Credit Union, and Rushes SuperValu Dalkey have all come on board to lend their support. A troupe of Dalkey Volunteers and Dalkey Traders are set for the thousands that are expected.
